Clarence Bowers Sr. Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clarence Bowers Sr. (Ponce de Leon, Florida), who passed away on February 21, 2018 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Bowers and Alma Lee Odom Bowers. He is survived by: his wife Mary Berndt Bowers; his son Clarence Eddis Bowers, Jr.; his wife Michele; his daughter Cheryl Lynn Bowers Nye (Dale); his grandchildren, Hillary Bowers Rock (Steve), Catelyn Bowers Lee (Taylor), Anna Bowers and Emily Nye; his great grandchildren, Lelan Lee, Kayla, Zach and Nicolas Rock; and his siblings, Clarese Floyd, Carmen Wilson (James), Charlot Lindsay (Bud), Kenneth Bowers (Harriet), Carol Robinson (Terry), Ronnie Bowers (Becky), Robin Bowers (Jackie) and Connie Strickland. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces.

Because flying was his passion and he was an active member of the Young Eagles Association, in lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated to the Young Eagles, an association whose goal is to instill the love of flying in young adults.
