Betty M. Griggs Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty M. Griggs of Ponce de Leon, Florida, who passed away on December 11, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Casey Rushing and Mattie Bell Rushing; her husband Monroe Griggs; her siblings, Milbra Rushing, James Rushing and Cleve Rushing; and her children, Ray Griggs, Jr. and Susan Griggs.

She is survived by: her son John P. Griggs of Eucheeanna, Florida; her siblings, Gary Rushing (Jeanie) of Eucheeanna, Thomas Rushing (Marsha) and Myrtle Rushing (Herbert); her grandchildren, Bridgett Griggs (Cody Poore), Jessica Parker (Curtis) and Rayanna Griggs; and her great grandchildren, Alison, Luke, Jaxson, Allysa, Clarissa and Alona.

In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted to help offset funeral expenses.
