It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William George Runde (Pompano Beach, Florida), born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 14, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Jones (Betty) of Pompano Beach; his son Michael Runde of Coral Springs, Florida; his brother Timothy Runde of Clinton Township, Michigan.; and his parents, George Kersten Runde and Marion Elizabeth Neu of Kenosha, Wisconsin.

He is survived by: his children, Dawn Duplak (Brian) of Pompano Beach, Jeffery Runde (Michelle) of Pompano Beach and Daniel George Runde of Vancouver, Washington.; his daughter-in-law Judy Runde; his grandchildren, Kimberly, Robert Duplak, William, Michael Runde, Joshua, Grace Runde and Genys Runde; his great grandchild Douglas Jett Capen; his siblings, Robert Runde (Andrea) of Bristol and Carol Runde of Racine, Wisconsin; and his sisters-in-law, Sue E. Jones of Kenosha and Sue E. Runde of Clinton Township, Michigan. He is also survived by four nieces and one nephew.
