We bid farewell to Sophia Thermis (Pompano Beach, Florida), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 20, 2025 at the age of 84. Sophia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thermis and Antonia Valdez Thermis. She is survived by: her children, Oscar D. Camacho, James A. Camacho, Miguel A. Camacho and Brenda Kettwig; her grandchildren, Andreina West, Jocelyn Rinaldi, Erick Dilts, Michelle Camacho, Kevin Kettwig, Jessica Camacho and James Camacho; and her great grandchildren, Selah West, Reina West, Mateo West and Amelia Rinaldi.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church (820 NE 14th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pompano Beach Cemetery (400 SE 23rd Ave, Pompano Beach, FL 33062).
Memorial donations may be made to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church.
