She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Hankins and Julia Cooney Hankins; and her daughter Janet Hankins. She is survived by: her son Robert Dupree; her brother Lucious Hankins; her grandchildren, Jennifer Jackson (Exavier), Talvin Vereen (Antoinette), Robert Rashad Dupree and Calesia Brenna Dupree; her great grandchild Summer Hazel Vereen; and her goddaughter Chinekqwa "NeNe" Small. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
