He was predeceased by: his parents, Armando Capriles and Laura Garcia. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Kira, Karina and Ricardo; his children-in-law, Manuel and Ignacia; and his grandchildren, Elias, Rodrigo, Manuel, Sofia, Diego, Mikaela, Federika, Thiago and Ivanka. He is also survived by his sister and brothers; brother and sisters in law; and many nieces and nephews.
