He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonia Roberts and Roland Roberts; his siblings, Roland Jr., Willie James, Samuel, Walter and Maxine; and his brother-in-law Duvall Payne.
He is survived by: his significant other Leonarda Payne Roberts; his children, Bruce (Pompano Beach) and Talya of St. Petersburg, FL; his granddaughter Traniqua Hargrett (Vernon) of Pompano Beach; his sisters-in-law, Catherine Morgan and Maddie Belle Williams of Pompano Beach; his aunt Clara Cason of Lauderdale Lakes; and his siblings-in-law, Leonard (Charlotte), Charles Payne (Beverly) of Fort Lauderdale, Karl Stubbs (Atlanta Georgia) and Gussie Stubbs of Fort Lauderdale.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the L. C. Poitier Funeral Home (317 NW 6th St, Pompano Beach, FL 33060). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Bibleway Temple Ministries (877 SW 2nd Terrace, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441). A prayer was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Outreach Ministry.
