Furman (Pompano Beach, Florida), born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, who passed away on June 7, 2020, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Frank Hays Furman, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Martha Jane (Bird); his wife Erin (Ashworth); his sons, Frank Furman and Robert Furman of Windham; his sisters, June Michel (Bruce) of San Antonio and Jane DeJong (Dirk) of Lighthouse Point, Florida; his nieces and nephews, Mathew Michel, Drew Michel, Douglas DeJong and Allison Sorenson (DeJong); and his great-nieces, Claire Michel, Corinne Michel and Stella Sorenson.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, a memorial service for John Kendrick Furman will be held at a later date when family members and friends are able to travel and gather together to celebrate his life.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to further colon cancer awareness and research at Fight Colorectal Cancer.
