He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin George Klein and Anna Klein (Szczepanski); his daughter Heather Klein Scullion; and his grandson Jeffrey Joseph Scullion. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Klein (Jones); his son Mitchell Klein (Melissa) of Concord, NC; his son-in-law Conor Scullion of Rock Hill, SC; his goddaughter Jennifer Smetana (Chad) of Pineville, NC; his granddaughters, Charley-Ann Scullion, Remi Scullion, Ryleigh Scullion and Emery Klein; his sister Melody Zequeira (Jorge) of Woodstock, GA; and his mother-in-law Miriam Malkus Jones of Matthews, NC. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
