She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Scott and Mildred Northcutt Scott; her husband James Johnson; and her siblings, Willie Scott, Nathan Scott of Theo Brown, O. D, Sam Scott, Thomas C. Scott of Clifford Scott, J. C, Earl Scott, Milton Scott, Lemon Scott, Lorine Floyd, Ruth Floyd, Bernice Gibson, Katherine Johnson, Naomi Burch and Brenda Harrell.

She is survived by: her children, Arthur Johnson (Yolanda), Shewanna Johnson, Valerie Branch (Michael), Carnessa Johnson, Lisa Davis (Paul), Monica Johnson and Brynt Johnson (Renee); and her siblings, Lois Wilcox, James Scott, David Scott and Mark Scott. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
