With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frederick W. Applegate Jr. of Pompano Beach, Florida, born in Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on September 22, 2023 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his son Rick Applegate; and his daughter-in-law Stacy Applegate. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Applegate; his children, Cathy Marshall (Rick) and David Applegate; his daughter-in-law Theresa Applegate; his brother-in-law Edwin Baxter; and his grandchildren, Kyle Applegate (Ally), Matthew Knick (Marissa), Justin Marshall, Amanda Marshall and Kennadee Applegate. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as numerous friends.
