He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles M. Higgs and Sallie Ann Higgs of Texarkana. He is survived by: his daughters, Susan (Robert Smith) of Pompano Beach and Grace (Ion Staicu) of Okeechobee, Florida.; his sister Margie Sheldon of Little Rock; and his granddaughters, Sarah Waguspack (Grant Waguspack) of Sour Lake, TX and Jennifer Smith (Frank Snodgrass) of Shreveport. He is also survived by great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
