With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Buck (Pompano Beach, Florida), who passed away on August 10, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her nephew Lynwood Flemings. She is survived by: her children, Charles Alexis Buck, Tasha Jana'e Buck and Nicole Gingeria Rucker (Artis Rucker, Jr.); her sister Louise Burley; her grandchildren, Tylor Buck, Tyra Wiggins and Joshua Bray'; her cousin Buela Wright; her goddaughter Jacqueline Marie Flemings; her nephews, Tyrone Flemings and Troy Randall III; and also, Joyce Ann Lacue (Craig Lacue) and Mary Flemings (Sharonda Denise Anderson).
One of Betty's most significant contributions to her community was her successful petition to the city of Pompano Beach, Florida, to build a park for the children living in in Cypress Creek area.
