She was predeceased by: her parents, Riley Barnett, Sr. and Eva Frances O'Bryant Barnett; her husband Calvin James Scott, Sr.; her daughter Hilda Rene Scott Worrie; and her brothers, Arthur and Riley Barnett, Jr..

She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda McCall (Ron), Etta Scott, Angela Butler and Kimberly Mesfun; her stepdaughters, Dr. Helen Bryant and Gloria J. Cannon; and her sister Eva Barnett. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
