It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William S. Benton of Pomona Park, Florida, who passed away on September 28, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Spurgeon Benton, Sr. and Edna Lucile Benton; and his siblings, Frankie Benton, Pauline Banks, Bernice Mosley, Clarkie Branam, Joyce Darus and Bobby Benton.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Davis Benton; his siblings, Faye Griffis, Betty Jean Wright (Archie) and Jesse Benton (Kathy); and his children, James Benton (Kimberly), John Benton (Debbie), Jamey Mauldin (Cynthia), Jake Mauldin (Juli) and Katherine Seitz (Bill). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
