He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Gayle Wotring; his parents, Richard Wotring and Pauline Wotring; his brother Doug Wotring; and his brother-in-law Earl Bessent.

He is survived by: his daughters, Jill Harris (Steve) of St. Augustine and Karen Chesser (Lanier) of Bybee, TN; his sister Mary Bessent; and his grandson Cole Harris.
