It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Elaine Shimer of Poinciana, Florida, born in Cortland, New York, who passed away on January 13, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Duhamel; her brother Stephen Shimer; and her parents, Catherine Steimer (Betty) and Donald Shimer. She is survived by: her boyfriend Bill Kent; and her siblings, Nancy Cabana, Barbara Ferrari and Martin Shimer. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
