He was predeceased by: his brothers, Erich and Helmut. He is survived by: his wife Olga; his sisters, Wanda and Erna; his grandchildren, Matthew, Michelle, Jennifer, Dayna, Daniel, Lindsay, Julie and Teila; and his great grandchildren, Katelyn, Ryan, Aurora, August, Mackenzie and Charlotte.

A charity will be designated for memorial donations.
