It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stratton King Murphy of Plantation, Florida, born in Kenansville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 6, 2024, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Holmes, Lois Murphy, Lawrence and Nellie Chandler; and his aunt Joyce Murphy Minchew.

He is survived by: his parents, Harry Daniel "Pete" and Lynn Chandler Murphy; his sons, Liam, Aleix and Biel Murphy (Meritxell Gangonells Murphy) of Plantation, Florida; his brothers, Marc Murphy of Raleigh and Nick Kukulinski (Paula) of Raleigh; his nieces and nephews, Payne Kukulinski, Santana Murphy, Claire Kukulinski and Marisa Murphy; his uncles, Wendell H. Murphy (Linda) and Larry Chandler; his great-aunt Peggy Stubbs; his cousins, Dell Murphy (Wendy), Wendy Crumpler (Kelly), Cindy Bass, Wesley Hairr (Donna), Angela Brown (Robby), Kimberly Byrd (Mike), Alexander Holder (Denise) and Carla Kieffer (Jonathan); and his friend Stratton.

He was an exceptional son/father/brother & a friend to all throughout his journey.
