He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Griffith Sr. and Thelma Bailey; his children, William and Nancy; his wife Judy Lea Brinegar; and his brother Vernon Griffith.

He is survived by: his children, Twila Griffith and Art Griffith; and his granddaughters, Hannah Winter, Larissa Griffith-Calls and Barbara Griffith.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to the Humane Society.
