He was predeceased by: his parents, Montie L. Welch, and Evelyn Welch, Sr. (Webb); his grandson Jakob D.; his nephew Joseph L. Debauche; and his brother Richard Welch.
He is survived by: his wife Ana Welch of Plantation; his children, Gary G. of Colorado, Janis L. (Gerald Bernard) of Wellington, FL and Ellen L. (Charles East, Jr.) of Port St; his grandchildren, Justin M., Daisy M., James A., Isabella G., Christian C., Lauren C. and Luke A.; and his siblings, Delores, Linda, Sheryl (Ray), Nancy (Dave), Lana (Larry), Randy Welch, Wilma Sharp and Russell Welch. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
