He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Miguel Angel Cardona and Ana Tulia Mejia of Cardona; his family Therapy; his wife Lucia Echeverri Cardona; his children, Mauricio Cardona and Monica Cardona-Matthews; his grandchildren, Ashley Lynch, Devin Matthews, Gavin Matthews and Grace Matthews; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt Lynch and Olivia Lynch. He was also cherished by ten loving brothers and sisters, twenty adoring nieces and nephews and five caring brother in-laws and sister in-laws.
