Ethelrine Slater Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ethelrine Slater of Plantation, Florida, who passed away on February 3, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Ann Shepherd and Reuben Logan; her husband Joseph Slater; her sons, Trevor Linton and Michael Myrie; and her brother Daniel Logan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Linton and Jody Slater-Brown; her son-in-law Ryan Brown; her siblings, Marjorie Bernard, Patricia Kerr and David Logan; her grandchildren, Andre Rhooms, Jessica Myrie Stokes, Skye Brown and Sage Brown; and her great grandchildren, Aaron Rhooms, Nicholas Rhooms, Jayce Rhooms, Josiah Stokes, Jonathan Michael Stokes and Joelle Stokes.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fred Hunter Funeral Home (2401 S University Dr, Davie, FL 33324). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Plantation (150 NW 46th Ave, Plantation, FL 33317).
