He was predeceased by: his brother Willie Schmieding; his parents, Robert Rausch and Jeanne Schmieding; his stepfather William Schmieding; and his father-in-law Joe Becker.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Rausch; his daughter Rebecca Rausch (Will Gorman); his siblings, Chris Fox (Ray Handloser), Dave Rausch (Sheri) and Sandy Saylor (Ron); and his mother-in-law Zelda Becker. He is also survived by his niece and nephews.
