He was predeceased by: his mother Leola Clark (Calvin, Jr.). He is survived by: his wife Leila; his sisters, Bertha Williams, Mary Spann, Dorothy "Dot" Allen (Thomas), Ida "Belle" McEachern (George) and Carolyn Cannon (Robert); and his children, Calvert, Philip, Gregory, Frederick, Juanita, Wilfredo, Carmen, Edwin (Grace), Kenyatta, Shalima and Shaloze. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
