With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Zapata of Plantation, Florida, born in Manhattan, New York, who passed away on February 10, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her sons, Christian, Steven (Judith) and James (Kelly); and her brother Thomas Gingeras. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
