She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Torres and Viviana Espericueta Torres; and her daughter Hortenzia Hernandez. She is survived by: her children, Antonio Mendoza, Irma Mendoza, Obidio Mendoza, Consuelo Mendoza, Maurilio Mendoza and Rosie Rios. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, and twenty-one great grandchildren.
