She was predeceased by: her parents, J. T. Battles and Juanita Snyder Battles; her husband Bill Hays; and her brother Edward Wayne Battles. She is survived by: her brothers, James Lloyd Battles (Kathy), Benjamin Joseph Battles (Tinatin) and Ronald Lee Battles (Jacqui); her sister-in-law Jan Battles; and her close friend Rich Diemer.
