He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Johnston; his sons, Shannon Johnston and Joe Hayes (Andrea); his siblings, Mary Ruth Haynes, Gerald Johnston, Jimmy Johnston, Carolyn Minter and Caffey Radney; his parents-in-law, Peggy Meek of Bradenton, Paula and Wesley Gamble of Brooksville; and his grandchildren, Trevor Johnston, Haley Hayes, Karaline Hayes, Trent Johnston, Estelle Hayes and Josephine Hayes. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
