He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Brighhaupt and Mildred Brighhaupt; and his sisters, Ruth Sassaman and Maryann Soloman. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Brighthaupt; his sons, James Lovett, Richard Lovett (Helena) and Robert Lovett (Harriet); and his brother C. Richard Brighthaupt. He is also survived by three grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
