He is survived by: his wife Barbara McGriff; his daughter Debra Wade; his son-in-law Ted Wade; his son Patrick Steven McGriff; his siblings, Edwina Parrish and David McGriff; his niece Katye Blackmon; his granddaughter Amanda; and his great grandchildren, Ethan and Grayson.
