He is survived by: his sons, Steve Mitchell and Stan Mitchell (Tammy); his stepsons, Jim Williams and Randy Williams; and his siblings, Mavis, Florine, Claira, Albert, Aaron and Milas. He is also survived by his family, friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church (301 E Alsobrook St, Plant City, FL 33563). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
