He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Schmidt and Erna Katherine Haasa Schmidt; and his sister Norma Jean Schmidt. He is survived by: his children, Erna Jean Schmidt, Tammi Lee Reliford (Clester) and Kathy Marie Webb (Shawn); and his siblings, Betty Pape, Bonnie Warren, Larry Schmidt, Dwayne Schmidt and David Schmidt. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
