He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Dudley and Bessie Williams Dudley; his wife Gladys LaVon Brannen Dudley; and his siblings, Raydell Dudley and William Dudley.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Dudley (Dee), Joseph Dudley, Helen Brewer and Charlotte Alderman; and his sister-in-law Betty Dudley. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.
