He was predeceased by: his parents, Hansel Griffin Sr. and Lois Thorton; and his brothers, Ray Griffin, Richard Griffin and Edward Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Griffin; his children, Roxanne Griffin Fulwood, Michelle Griffin Greene (Gary), Artis Griffin (Jennifer) and David Griffin (Markeala); and his brothers, Andy Walker, Steve Walker and Wayne Walker.
