It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Austin Wolfe of Plant City, Florida, born in Flomaton, Alabama, who passed away on February 9, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ilene Thomas Wolfe and Houston Wolfe; his wife Barbara A. Wolfe (Hiller); his stepfather Bill Turkington; his sister Beverly Souther; and his grandsons, Joshua Macnicol and Theo Luke Jones.
He is survived by: his former spouse Bill Turkington; his sons, Kevin Wolfe (Amanda) and Ken Wolfe (Tammy); his grandchildren, Becky Scholten (Bryan), Amanda Branford, Kelly Jones (Luke) and Megan Guingona (Victor); his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Wolfe, Ty Scholten, Romeo Banford, Chase Macnicol, Madison Holland of Jameson Jones, TJ, Holland, Ava Jones, Benson Guingona and Declan Jones; his sister Brenda Sanson; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Hiller, Bobbi Hiller and Marilyn Hiller.
