He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Sherlock and Frances Sherlock McDowell; and his siblings, Richard Sherlock, Barbara Sherlock Campbell and Claude Sherlock.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Sherlock; and his children, Lethea Johnson, Lynette Locher, Leora Claville and Leon Sherlock. He is also survived by five grandchildren and one great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
