She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Powell and Claudia Coley Powell; her husband Glen Swilley; her daughter Glenda Swilley Crow; and her granddaughter Stephanie Swilley Williams.

She is survived by: her son Richard R. Swilley; her son-in-law Donald Crow; and her sisters, Carol Watkins and Evelyn Sapp. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cedar Grove Baptist Church or Suncoast Hospice in her honor.
