He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl H. and Sallie L. Dekle; his sister Lenoir Warren; his former wife Josephine Pepper Dekle; and his daughter Sheila D. Talcott.
He is survived by: his wife Alice McCracken Dekle; his son-in-law Thomas A. Talcott; his stepdaughters, Linda C. Wakeman and Dorothy M. Shapiro; his grandchildren, Shelly N. Grizzle (Shane) and Brendt Dekle Talcott (Monica); his great grandchildren, Madyson and McKinzie; his stepgrandchildren, Richard Wakeman and Christine Wakeman; his great grandchildren, Kayla Grizzle, Jace Talcott, Zoe Wakeman, Madillyn and Kaitlynn Wakeman; and his niece Sallie Lenoir Warren.
