Betty Bowers Darden Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Bowers Darden of Plant City, Florida, who passed away on December 16, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Col Henry Richard "Rip" Darden, Jr.; her daughter Lucy Darden; her parents, Ralph Lee Bowers and Roxy Lucille Graves Bowers; and her siblings, Martha Bowers Guffin Reese, Ralph Lee Bowers, Jr. and Lisle Robinson Bowers.
She is survived by: her children, Richard "Dick" Darden (Pam) of Leesburg, VA, Dave Darden (Kerry) of Plant City, FL and Mary Darden Tarczynski (Greg) of Oakland, CA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandsons, and many nieces and nephews.
