He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Arthur Tharp and Abbie Tomlin; his wife Evelyn Martin Thorpe; and his sons, Christopher Thorpe and Andrew Thorpe.
He is survived by: his children, Wanda Wygal (Tim), Dale Thorpe (Cathy), Tonia Thorpe, Audrey VanHoose (Kenny), Mabel Thorpe-Miller (Danny) and Beverly Thorpe (Jeff).
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Haught Funeral Home (708 W Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Plant City, FL 33563). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
