He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William A. J. Scholten and Josephine M. Lanott Scholten; his wife Joye; his children, Ann Lanz (Bob) of Tiverton, RI, Kathy Fletcher (Bob) of Pine, CO, Jim Scholten (Terry) of Omaha, NE and Sally Robson (Dick) of Clive, IA; and his stepdaughters, Suzanne Johnson (Beth) and Chris Platto (Ed). He was also cherished by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Holy Trinity Catholic Church Debt Reduction Fund.
