He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pryor and Rubell Dukes Pryor; his wife Emma Hinton Pryor; and his children, Lewis W. Pryor and Leatha Franklin.
He is survived by: his children, Ernest Pryor, Jr., Theda Pryor of Pinetta, Erna Pryor of Pinetta and Emma L. Brooks of Pinetta, Florida; and his siblings, Ruby Pryor of Orlando, Florida and Sylvester Pryor (Ida) of Orlando, Florida. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
