He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Robert Grimsley and Margaret Ann Mote; his wife Randi Grimsley; his sisters, Annette Nicholson, Vicki Schlattweiler [Grimsley], Dawn Osborne and Shawn Christenson; his sons, Ian Grimsley and Danny Grimsley; his stepdaughters, Karli Benson and Rachel Van Der Meulen; and his grandson Perseus Benson.
The military honors will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Bay Pines National Cemetery (10000 Bay Pines Blvd, St. Petersburg, FL 33708). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Crystal Lake Park Community Center (9301 49th St N, Pinellas Park, FL 33782).
