He is survived by: his parents, Frank Gessell and Helen Gessell (Matheis) of Swanville, MN; his former spouse Laurie Johnson; his wife Kathryn Hubner; his children, Brent Gessell of Swanville, MN, Shawna Johannes (Steve) of Burtrum, MN, Megan Stromley of Carver, MN and Jayme Gullickson of Detroit Lakes, MN; and his sisters, Gina Dwyer (Kenny Wachmann) of Sartell, MN, Dana Hanowski (Paul) of Swanville, MN, Shari Pung (Karl) of Burtrum, MN and Kristi Anderson of Little Falls, MN. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mark also enjoyed doing charity rides to collect used disabilities equipment for Vets.
