She is survived by: her grandparents, Allen D., Eleanor Griffin (Hendrickson), Carl C. and Helen Cornwell (Gibbs); her spouse John Whitehead of Melbourne; her sisters, Jill Griffin of Raleigh and Joyce Hall (Alston) of Centerburg; and her uncle George E. Cornwell (Gracie). She is also survived by her husbands, her parents and grandparents.
