He is survived by: his parents, Catherine D'Alessandro and Anthony D'Alessandro; his daughter Amanda Tarantino; his son-in-law Joseph Tarantino; and his siblings, Anthony D'Alessandro, Jr and Carolyn Love.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations in his name to Suncoast Animal League.
