He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth of Germany. He is survived by: his siblings, Juergen Bliwernitz (George) and Helga Mahar (Dennis); his children, Christine (Terence), Dirk (Maureen) and Carrie (Bob); and his significant other Ilse Lenthe of Remscheid, Germany. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Horst Bliwernitz to Suncoast Hospice. Additionally, Tierra Pines (727 535-9833) is accepting donations in the form of new/used medical equipment/supplies, clothing, etc.
