She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Harper and Louise Harper; her brothers, Gene Harper and Edward Harper; and her husband Charlie Fields.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Sanford, Michael S. Sanford, Daniel Sanford, Suzette Zaragoza and Pat Sanford; her sister Joanne Isch; and her grandchildren, David Sanford, Danny Sanford, Dustin Sanford, Christopher Sanford, Jackson Pike and Shelby Pike. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
