He is survived by: his wife Charlene; his son James C. Smith (Nicole) of Friendswood, TX; his siblings, Jackie Smith of Seville, Jerry Smith of Pierson, Jennie Solar of Pierson and Judy Whidden of Pierson; and his grandchildren, Cheyenne, Jacob and James.
